Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex technology projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a strong background in technical project management, utilizing project management tools, and applying risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Utilize various project management tools to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in project management methodologies and standards.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or resources with agility and professionalism.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes through lessons learned and feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical project management within a technology environment.
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively and motivate team members.
  • Extensive experience in risk management practices related to technology projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master are advantageous.
