Registered Nurse (Medical Intensive Care Unit - MICU)

Provide high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients. Perform comprehensive assessments, titrate medications, and manage advanced therapies including ventilators and invasive lines.

Monitor patients closely and respond rapidly to changes in condition, coordinating care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that support optimal outcomes.

Key Duties

• Deliver critical care nursing through thorough assessment and continuous monitoring
• Titrate medications and manage ventilators and invasive lines
• Coordinate with the care team to implement individualized patient care plans
• Uphold patient safety, infection-prevention practices, and unit protocols
• Precept and educate patients, families, peers, and staff
• Support quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure and strong critical care nursing competencies
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and intervene during rapid clinical deterioration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary partners
• Commitment to patient education, safety, and quality improvement
• Approach grounded in evidence-based practice
