Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care setting, requiring 1+ year of experience and an active AK PT license.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Physical Therapy department
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling available
• 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• 3-4 weekends per year required
• Uses EPIC for charting and Pyxis for medication dispensing
• Utilizes Meditech and typical therapy modalities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited PT program
• AK PT license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluations, patient treatments, modalities, documentation, and customer service
• Orientation includes general orientation, Planetree education, department orientation, and competency checks within the first 90 days
• A department mentor is assigned during orientation
• Business dress code required
• Required modules must be completed before starting
• COVID vaccination or declination form required; unvaccinated staff must wear masks
