Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 4-week assignment at a small critical access hospital, requiring 2+ years of direct patient care experience and an Alaska PT license.

Details

• Provide PT coverage for both outpatient and inpatient caseloads
• Deliver primary PT coverage during the final two weeks of the assignment, including new inpatient evaluations as needed
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• Facility is closed on December 25th

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in a variety of settings
• Swing bed and inpatient experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Alaska PT license required upon acceptance
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Work alongside the current PT to support outpatient and inpatient services
• Housing provided for the duration of the assignment
• Small town located in Cordova, Alaska with seasonal holiday events including a tree lighting, snowman park, holiday bazaar, music concerts, and outdoor winter activities
• Open to first-time travelers
