Responsibilities

Work closely with our CTO and founding engineering team to build and extend backend product capabilities Contribute to backend services that power Serval’s AI-driven automation workflows Learn how to design, implement, and test scalable systems in a production environment Help us move quickly toward key product milestones, including shipping and iterating on core platform features

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with an expected graduation date between Dec 2026 - 2028 Strong fundamentals in computer science (data structures, algorithms, systems) Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (Go, Java, Python, or similar) Clear communication skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment Excitement about startups, ownership, and building products from the ground up Exposure to modern backend or cloud technologies (APIs, microservices, containers, or cloud platforms) Experience with any part of our stack: Go, gRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform Previous internship or project experience at a startup or fast-paced team
