What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Assembler IV Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical and electro-mechanical products. This position involves leading a team of assemblers, maintaining production flow, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will also facilitate meetings and provide mentorship to team members.

· Plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations on various products.

· Maintain hourly production to meet daily plans and ensure operators follow standard work procedures.

· Determine methods and sequence of assembly operations using production sheets, wire lists, samples, blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.

· Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.

· Identify and select components for integration into sub-assembly and assembly units.

· Perform set-ups, alignments, and adjustments while maintaining tolerances as per instructions.

· Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, reassemble, and test units as required.

· Provide work leadership to lower-level assemblers by assigning tasks, reviewing progress, and monitoring results.

· Facilitate and oversee meetings to communicate production goals, address challenges, and recognize achievements.

Qualifications

  • You Must Have · Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • HS Diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
  • · Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • · 4 years of experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly processes.
  • · Prior work experience using small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers.

Qualifications

  • We Prefer · Familiarity with computers, test equipment, label printers, and software tools such as Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • · Prior experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • · High-level communication and leadership skills.
