Raytheon is seeking a Program Manager (PM), Senior Manager, for the Griffin, HARM, Maverick (GHM) program portfolio. Reporting to the GHM Associate Director, this role will manage the execution of multiple GHM contracts, including the production, sustainment support and engineering services scope.

This Senior Manager PM will be a part of the leadership team that is responsible for managing a cross-functional team in execution of GHM support. Responsibilities also include regular customer interface, removing barriers in execution, and defining creative solutions to complex challenges. In addition, it is expected that this role will prepare EACs and Program Review packages and maintain the program infrastructure.

This position will work across all Raytheon functional organizations to ensure delivery of products and services in accordance with contractual requirements.

This role offers a unique opportunity on an exciting portfolio of combat-proven programs. An optimal candidate will have experience in cross-functional leadership, factory process knowledge, depot maintenance and engineering services, and also possess strong customer relationship management skills.

This position will be onsite in Tucson, AZ. Relocation is not available.

What You Will Do

  • The role must establish and maintain a positive and inclusive program culture to which top talent is attracted.
  • Execute daily PM cadence (battle rhythm) such as risk review boards, schedule performance management, customer reviews, IPT/CPT reviews, failure review boards, program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments.
  • Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, RLPM, Corporate and Business policies and procedures.
  • Directly support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Meet contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customer counterparts.
  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), and administrative functions.
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
  • Prepare and manage all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews.
  • Coordinate customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits.
  • Support contract proposal process to include bidding, gating, negotiation, contract definitization, and start-up efforts.
  • Travel domestically per the demands of the program.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with factory production of safety critical hardware and the subsequent delivery to domestic and international customers.
  • Leadership experience as a program manager or functional lead.
  • Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting resource budgets and plans for projects/programs.
  • Leadership experience that includes the oversight of production, depot maintenance, repairs, or development projects.
  • Ability to obtain an active U.S. government issued security clearance is required within 1 year of start date.

Qualifications

We Value:

  • Raytheon Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to receive within 6 months.
  • Experience working government or mission critical programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external, including Industry Partners both domestic and international,
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
  • Production and/or sustainment program experience.
  • Experience with the DoD customer community and contract negotiations with these entities.
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems.
  • Working knowledge of EX/IM and Security requirements.
  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources.
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval.
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
