We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive tenant onboarding of Microsoft 365 services inside Microsoft's internal IT organization. Microsoft runs many internal Microsoft 365 tenants, including high profile tenants where security, compliance, and operational bars are at the highest level.
The highest impact part of this role is creating clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and delivering tenants to users on time and on quality. You will take loosely defined goals, partner across many engineering teams, and turn them into clear plans, owners, milestones, and decisions.
You will operate in high stakes scenarios with a broad stakeholder set including Microsoft 365 product engineering, internal business groups (for example customer support and finance), security organizations, and internal IT leadership, often with conflicting requirements that you will reconcile to keep delivery moving.

Responsibilities
- You will drive tenant onboarding programs of significant complexity end to end across multiple engineering teams; own the plan, the milestones, the risks, the decisions, and the delivered outcome.
- You will make ambiguous problem statements and turn them into structured programs: scope, dependencies, owners, success criteria, and a clear path to delivery.
- You will manage stakeholders across Microsoft 365 product engineering, internal business groups (for example customer support and finance), security organizations, and internal IT leadership. Surface conflicting requirements early and drive them to a clear decision.
- You will deliver in high stakes scenarios: keep work moving while managing risk, escalations, and tradeoffs.
- You will run program rhythms: status, milestone reviews, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and executive readouts.
- You will communicate clearly in writing and in meetings; tailor the message for engineers, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Technical program management experience, with at least the most recent role driving programs that span multiple engineering teams.
- Demonstrated drive for results: a track record of personally delivering complex programs to completion.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, multitenant SaaS, large enterprise IT, or cloud platform programs.
- Background partnering with internal business groups (such as customer support or finance), security engineering, compliance, or operations teams.
- Experience with tenant lifecycle, configuration, or onboarding programs at scale.
- Experience bringing structure to new or unstructured program areas.
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and independently produce clear plans, structure, and decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management across engineering, business, and operational audiences, including high stakes scenarios with conflicting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including with senior leaders.
- Technical fluency sufficient to understand engineering tradeoffs, dependencies, and risk in cloud or SaaS programs.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U. S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
