At FD&E, you will help build reliable, scalable, and secure data solutions that power decision-making, business insights, automation, and AI-driven experiences. You will work across data engineering and software engineering disciplines, contributing to data pipelines, data platforms, services, analytics products, and engineering systems that support Microsoft’s global business.

Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Drive delivery of data, analytics, AI, and web application platform initiatives supporting Finance Transformation objectives.
- Partner with engineering teams to define requirements, technical roadmaps, architecture, and implementation plans.
- Build and scale solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Copilot, Azure, APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Lead program planning, roadmap development, sprint execution, release management, milestone tracking, and cross-team coordination using Agile methodologies for data platforms, analytics, automation, or AI solutions
- Develop data-driven approaches to improve operational efficiency, reporting, decision-making, and user experiences.
- Define telemetry, success metrics, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and accelerate adoption of AI-enabled workflows.
- Support experimentation, prototyping, and transition of successful solutions into scalable production capabilities.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP, as well as AI/ML tools.
- Strong analytical abilities, with a background in data modeling, visualization, and reporting using tools such as Power BI, SQL, C# or Python would be a plus.
- Demonstrated skill in communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Enthusiastic about creating scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions.
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and experienced with tools like Azure DevOps.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U. S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
