Occupational Safety Specialist

• Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OHS regulations,
• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures,
• Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective actions,
• Providing safety training to employees,
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records,
• Collaborating with management and employees to create a safe work environment.

• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, relevant BcS degree (preferably forest industry or chemicals production related bachelor’s degree).
• Fluency in English is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE department, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety and fire systems is a plus,
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Valid driver's license,
• Flexibility to work varying hours and field areas as required.
