Senior Quality Engineer - Manufacturing

Description -

We are looking for a strong and influential Senior Quality Engineer to join our HW Manufacturing Quality domain in Kiryat Gat .

This area is undergoing significant transformation and receiving strong strategic focus.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, identifying process gaps, driving corrective actions, and promoting sustainable improvements through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support quality and process improvement initiatives across manufacturing functions.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Plan, conduct, and follow up on quality audits and manufacturing process assessments.
  • Identify quality, compliance, and process gaps and drive appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement using the Kaizen process.
  • Apply quality methodologies including A3, FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze quality KPIs and trends to identify systemic opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to address quality issues and optimize controls.
  • Prepare and present quality status, findings, and risks to technical and managerial stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing or multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and manufacturing audits.
  • Hands-on experience with structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement (Kaizen, FMEA).
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and technical report-writing capabilities.
  • Quality-related certification (CQE, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt) - a strong advantage.
