Job Summary

An RN Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for the overall clinical operations, staff management, patient care quality, and regulatory compliance of a nursing unit. The role combines clinical leadership, staff supervision, care coordination, quality improvement, and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff.
• Coordinate daily unit operations and staffing.
• Monitor patient care and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with facility, state, and CMS regulations.
• Handle incidents, audits, and quality improvement.
• Coordinate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Train and evaluate nursing staff.
