UX Designer - production scheduling tools (Tulsa, OK)

Stonegate Union Foods Group makes packaged foods for regional grocers, and the people who keep our plants running use software that was built for accountants. We are contracting a UX designer in Tulsa to redesign the screens our line supervisors use to schedule shifts and log downtime. What you will do

• Spend your first two weeks on the plant floor watching how supervisors really use the current system.
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with five or six supervisors at a time.
• Hand finished designs to our two developers and stay for the build. What we need
• A portfolio with at least one internal or operations tool, not only consumer apps.
• Comfort designing for gloved hands, shared tablets and glare. The contract is on-site in Tulsa, for about four months, with a possible extension.
