A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end creative development for assigned categories within the Digital Appliances line of business — writing clear briefs, managing agency workflow and timelines and running internal reviews — so creative output consistently lands on strategy and on schedule.
- Own the consumer experience on S.com in partnership with the Demand Gen Digital & E-com teams, identifying opportunities to sharpen our value propositions across the portfolio that will drive conversion.
- Serve as the connective thread across CRM, Paid, Social, and Retail Ops, ensuring messaging, content, digital experiences and in-store creative all stay consistent throughout the consumer engagement journey.
- Ideate and champion creative concepts that break through competitive noise, acting as the primary point of contact for creative agencies to keep asset execution consistent across every owned channel.
- Lead strategic, cross-line-of-business promotions that drive sell-through, and translate results into clear, executive-ready presentations and share-outs.
- Identify process and efficiency improvements across digital workflows, bringing forward-thinking solutions as the team's needs scale.
- Track and analyze KPIs across marketing tactics to show what's working and inform the next round of creative and promotional decisions.
- Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
- Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
- Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
- Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proven experience managing creative agency relationships — writing briefs, driving timelines, and reviewing work to ensure quality and strategic alignment.
- Strong understanding of UX and on-site functionality as it relates to shaping the consumer shopping journey.
- Experience managing creative asset workflows, including asset types, formats, and delivery across digital and in-store channels.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with comfort to influence cross functional leadership within a matrixed organization.
- Ability to track, analyze, and communicate KPIs tied to marketing and creative performance.
