Senior Financial Analyst

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Analyst plans, reports and analyzes sales and operational performance for the client to identify opportunities, provide recommendations and drive change throughout the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for creating high-level planning and store level sales targets for measuring and monitoring organizational performance.

Uses the sales targets to create high visibility daily and weekly store sales goals used for determining field and store variable compensation.

Leverages data warehouse (BusinessObjects) to verify sales data, interpret and analyze sales and KPI results to determine trends and provide recommendations.

Works with General Ledger and other Shared Services teams on internal and external controls, balance sheet analysis, etc

Establishes proactive working relationships with business partners and develops methodologies/functionality to automate and streamline processes

Participates in special projects and create ad hoc analysis.

Partners with brand team on transformational brand projects.

Partners with field leaders to highlight opportunities in sales and operational trends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. and/or M.B.A in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics

3+ years financial planning and analysis and/or commercial finance experience

Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PPT, Word)

Knowledge of SAP and/or BusinessObjects

Advanced financial modeling experience and attention to detail
