Job Title: Project Manager – AI-Enabled Digital Platform

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week)

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

Duration: December 14, 2026 – June 18, 2027

Candidate Pay Rate: $68.09 per hour

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

Position Overview ---------------------

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a large-scale, AI-enabled lifelong learning platform.

The selected candidate will manage projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and project approval through development, implementation, testing, and evaluation.

This role involves coordinating multiple technical and functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external technology partners to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines, budgets, and requirements.

The Project Manager will oversee the development of a digital learning platform designed to provide personalized learning experiences, skills assessments, adaptive learning pathways, digital credentials, and integrations with institutional and external systems.

Required Skills / Experience

• Experience managing complex software development projects and digital platform implementations.
• Strong experience with Agile project management, including sprint planning, backlog management, resource coordination, and release management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including software engineers, UX designers, data specialists, business stakeholders, and external technology partners.
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for Agile project management, sprint tracking, and backlog management.
• Proficiency with project management and documentation tools such as:

+ Microsoft Teams

+ SharePoint

+ Smartsheet

+ Microsoft Project

The requisition also identifies the following as required skills with three years of experience each:

• AI-enabled applications, personalization systems, or data-intensive digital products.
• Learning technologies, EdTech platforms, LMS integrations, or workforce development systems.
• Managing products from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through production and subsequent releases.
• Cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
• Enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and Canvas, including system integrations and data workflows.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), educational technology, and workforce development platforms.
• Experience taking digital products from MVP development through production deployment and subsequent releases.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to Salesforce and Canvas integrations.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar tools for UX/UI design coordination and prototype development.
• Experience using dashboards and reporting tools to monitor project performance and delivery progress.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, from project definition and approval through implementation and evaluation.
• Lead the development and implementation of an AI-enabled lifelong learning platform.

• Manage project discovery, prototyping, development, testing, and production deployment activities.
• Establish and monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile project management activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to track project progress, manage backlogs, and monitor sprint activities.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among software engineers, UX designers, data specialists, business owners, and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to project team members and ensure project deliverables meet established expectations.
• Apply standard project management methodologies to maintain project quality and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in managing Agile software development and technically complex digital platform implementations.

The candidate should be comfortable coordinating multiple teams, managing competing priorities, tracking project deliverables, and working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with AI-enabled applications, EdTech platforms, LMS integrations, cloud environments, and enterprise system integrations will be valuable.

The client prioritizes demonstrated project delivery experience, Agile methodology, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage technically complex products over expertise in any one specific software application.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Eligibility to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification examination.
