This position is Full Time working Night Shift: 7pm-7am

• The RN demonstrates alignment with the Mission, Vision, Values, and behavioral expectations of Peterson Health.
• The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing and reassessing each patient and planning the care that includes the spiritual, emotional, physiological and psychosocial needs.
• The response to these needs are evaluated and documented in the patient’s record.
• Once developed, the Registered Nurse is responsible to see that the Plan of Care is carried out through performance and/or appropriate delegation to unit personnel.

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursingPreferred Education:

BSN

Required Skills:

Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for the unit specific competencies.

Preferred Skills

PALSRequired Licensure/Registration/Certification:

Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse, BLS, ACLS (if not currently ACLS certified, must complete within six months of employment, and thereafter renew within two months of the recommended date of renewal).

Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification

CCRN

Required Experience:

Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients. One year experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience as an RN in an Intensive Care Unit
