Data Analyst

Overview

As a Data Analyst, you’ll turn complex data into clear, useful insights that help teams make informed decisions. You’ll partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, shape reliable data, and deliver reports and dashboards that make findings easy to act on.

Duties

• Gather and clarify stakeholder needs through business and requirements analysis; define reporting goals and project scope.
• Query SQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, and support ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and query management.
• Design data models and database structures; assess linked data and data quality.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel, and other data analytics and visualization tools.
• Present findings clearly, manage analysis projects, and collaborate with teams using Agile practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC) analysis.

Experience

• Essential: Strong data analysis, business analysis, analytical, and communication skills; practical SQL and Excel data analysis experience.
• Essential: Experience with analytics, business intelligence, dashboard development, reporting tools, data visualization, and data model design.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend, Visio, database design, and additional reporting and dashboarding tools.
• Preferred: Understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methods, project management, and linked data.
• Technical proficiency with relevant tools and databases is valued; equivalent experience with comparable platforms is welcome.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
