Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)

Vertus HealthCare is seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Palm Beach County.

We offer 8–12-hour shifts with opportunities for consistent patient assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized skilled nursing care in the patient's home.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Provide tracheostomy, ventilator, feeding tube, wound, and other specialized nursing care as assigned.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans as authorized.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the clinical management team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida RN license.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Private Duty Nursing, Home Health, or medically complex patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work 8–12-hour shifts.
• Reliable transportation.
