Role Overview

This is an entry-to-mid-level Front End Software Development Engineer role supporting the design and delivery of client-side and user-facing application experiences. The engineer will work closely with product owners, designers, and back-end developers to translate user needs into functional, visually consistent interfaces, while also contributing to prototyping, UI testing, and performance improvements.

The role blends hands-on development with user-experience thinking, requiring comfort across the full front-end lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers/stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements
• Design, develop, and deliver front-end features using relevant tools, languages, and frameworks
• Align development work with established architecture guidelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects
• Build mock-ups and prototypes; participate in UI design reviews and product demos
• Perform functional and UI automated testing to ensure quality
• Fix bugs and optimize application performance
• Apply cross-browser compatibility, SEO, and accessibility best practices
• Build interactive, brand-consistent user experiences, potentially using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• 0–4 years of software development experience (Engineer 1 level)
• Bachelor's Degree required

Technical Skills:

• Database - Other (as literally listed in requisition)
