Field Registered Nurse

Join University Home Care Inc as a Field Registered Nurse in Oakland, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and deliver personalized care that meets each patient’s unique needs.

Interviews are going to be in our office located in Livonia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, home health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Kinnser
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Oakland, MI.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
