Hiring: Principal Mobile Engineer – iOS

We’re looking for a

Principal Mobile Engineer

who brings deep hands-on iOS expertise along with strong mobile architecture and technical leadership experience.

This is not just a Senior iOS Developer role. We need someone who has

owned mobile architecture and strategy, established engineering standards, influenced product/technology roadmaps, and communicated technical decisions to senior and executive stakeholders

—while still remaining approximately

50% hands-on

.

Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years of mobile development experience
• 3+ years in mobile/iOS technical leadership
• Expert-level

Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine

• Working knowledge of

Android/Kotlin

• Datadog
• Adobe Analytics
• Azure DevOps
• Mobile architecture and system design
• CI/CD, Fastlane, Git, Firebase
• REST APIs, OAuth2, and mobile security
• Performance, scalability, crash monitoring, and observability
• Experience with consumer-facing mobile applications
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder engagement

Nice to Have:

• Fintech / payments experience
• AI-assisted development using tools such as GitHub Copilot or Xcode AI
• AWS or Azure-connected mobile architectures
• Mobile payments, identity verification, or push notification experience
• Contributions to mobile libraries or technical publications

local to the Los Angeles area

and able to work onsite 3 days per week.

The national base pay range below is a good faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity $150000 - $190000
