Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Pay: $65–$80 per hour

Group

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) to conduct school-based PT evaluations and reevaluations for K–12 students in Washington.

This is an evaluations-only 1099 opportunity with a highly flexible schedule. Choose the days and times you are available during the school day and take on as many or as few hours as you want.

Whether you're looking to supplement your current position, work a few hours each week, or take on a larger evaluation caseload, we can work around your availability.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct school-based physical therapy evaluations and reevaluations for K–12 students
  • Assess functional mobility, gross motor skills, balance, coordination, gait, positioning, and school access
  • Identify student needs related to adaptive equipment and positioning supports, as appropriate
  • Complete clear, timely evaluation reports and required documentation
  • Collaborate with school teams regarding evaluation findings and recommendations, as needed
  • Participate in evaluation-related meetings when required

Qualifications

  • DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program
  • NPTE board exam passage required
  • Active Washington PT license
  • Strong evaluation, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage evaluation responsibilities within required timelines

Preferred Experience

  • School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience• Experience conducting pediatric or school-based evaluations
  • Familiarity with adaptive equipment and positioning supports
  • Experience supporting K–12 students
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings
