Payroll Accountant

We're looking for an organized and motivated Payroll Accountant to join our team at TJT’s Client Advisory Services division.

This is a full-time position collaborating with our payroll team to provide payroll support to our clients. We are looking for a candidate with payroll processing experience. The Payroll Accountant would provide a variety of payroll functions.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Process payroll for clients in multiple states
• Work with accounting team on payroll reporting
• Work with accounting team on payroll reconciliations
• Payroll tax payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate quarter and year-end processing (including federal, state and local tax reconciliations - 941, 940, W-2, etc.)
• Record and process garnishments and child support orders
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting Teams
• Other duties or projects as needed

​Qualifications:

• Two to three years of experience
• Demonstrated competency in using accounting and/or payroll software and executing various payroll processes - UKG; ProLiant; ADP; GUSTO
• An associate's or bachelor's in accounting or business is preferred
• Technical payroll skills are a plus
• Proliant or UKG Pro experience beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
