Job Summary

---------------

This is a contingent/PRN position on the Cardiovascular Acute Care team. This is a temporary position anticipated through September 3, 2027.

The employee in this position will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities*

----------------------

  • Evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders, and disabilities using physical modalities and exercises.
  • Interpret prescriptions and develop treatment plans.
  • Instruct patients in home exercise programs.

Required Qualifications*

-----------------------------

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and completion of a clinical internship are necessary.
  • A current Michigan Physical Therapy license is necessary.
  • This Classification requires registration, certification, or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix.

Desired Qualifications*

----------------------------

  • Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy.

Modes of Work

Background Screening
