AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

As an AI/ML Engineer, you’ll build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning solutions that turn complex data into useful insights and reliable applications. You’ll work across data preparation, model development, and production implementation, using tools suited to each project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transform data through ETL (extract, transform, load) workflows, data mining, linked data, database design, and SQL databases.
• Develop and train machine learning models, including unsupervised learning, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and natural language processing.
• Evaluate models and conduct statistical analysis for research, data analytics, and machine learning/AI-based analysis.
• Deploy and maintain AI implementations using machine learning cloud services, AWS, and scalable big data systems.
• Collaborate on Spark implementation, Hadoop, and other big data workflows; use analytics and statistical analysis tools to communicate findings.

Experience

• Hands-on experience with machine learning, AI, model training, model evaluation, and model deployment; familiarity with generative AI is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with TensorFlow or other machine learning frameworks is valuable.
• Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, AWS, ETL tools such as Talend, and database design is preferred.
• Additional useful skills include Java, C, R, SAS, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Looker, and SQL databases.
• Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills; exposure to quantum engineering is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $106,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
