A company in the computer networking products industry develops solutions that help service providers, data centers, and enterprises build flexible, scalable networks. This opportunity is suited to a strategic product leader who can connect customer needs, market insight, and technical capabilities to grow a data center product line.
You will collaborate with global teams and help shape product direction, market adoption, and business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic marketing and business plans for data center products using market research, competitive analysis, pricing, and customer engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities, forecast product-line performance, and support revenue growth.
- Partner with technical product leaders, Sales, and Systems Engineering to shape product features and functionality.
- Represent customer use cases, feedback, and requirements to Sales and R&D, and coordinate resolution of customer support issues.
- Develop product roadmaps that identify growth opportunities and prioritize differentiating capabilities.
- Coordinate with Product Marketing on launches, campaigns, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
- Work with channel partners and customers, and represent the business at trade shows, webinars, and industry forums.
Must-Have Skills:
- At least 10 years of business product management experience with a network equipment manufacturer.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Knowledge of data center networking, including spine-leaf architectures, Data Center Interconnect, EVPN, and VxLAN.
- Experience with forecasting, pricing analysis, and product business planning.
- Ability to translate customer requirements and market insights into product roadmaps and business opportunities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and long-term goals.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud networking and virtualized network solutions.
- Background in product marketing, go-to-market planning, or sales enablement for networking products.
- Experience working with global teams, channel partners, and enterprise or service provider customers.
- Familiarity with network operating systems and disaggregated networking models.
