RN, House Supervisor (AHCG)

Job Summary

Provides administrative and clinical supervision of hospital operations across nursing departments. Coordinates staffing, patient care activities, and resource allocation while ensuring continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to hospital policies.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience (Preferred)
• Previous nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred or based on facility requirements)

Key Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and clinical oversight of hospital operations during assigned shifts.
• Coordinates nursing staff assignments, staffing coverage, and patient care resources.
• Monitors patient census, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Supports nursing departments in managing clinical issues and operational challenges.
• Responds to emergencies and assists with clinical decision-making within scope of practice.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
• Communicates with department leaders, physicians, and healthcare staff regarding operational needs.
• Documents incidents, staffing activities, and significant operational issues accurately.
