About this role
We are seeking a talented
Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Specialist
to support a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. This role is ideal for a strong graphic designer who also understands social media, content creation, and brand storytelling.
While social media is an important part of the position, graphic design is a primary focus of this role. The right candidate will have experience creating polished creative materials across both print and digital channels and should be comfortable managing projects for multiple brands simultaneously.
This is not a role focused primarily on Canva templates or social media posting. We are looking for someone with a strong design foundation who can take a creative need from concept through final execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a wide variety of print and digital marketing materials across multiple brands, including:
- Sell sheets and product sheets
- Flyers and promotional handouts
- Retailer and distributor materials
- Posters and signage
- Banners and event graphics
- Invitations and event collateral
- Presentations and sales materials
- Social media graphics
- Digital marketing assets
- Other branded promotional materials
- Manage creative projects for multiple brands simultaneously while maintaining each brand's unique identity, voice, and visual standards.
- Create engaging social media content and graphics across relevant platforms.
- Assist with planning and managing social media content calendars.
- Develop creative concepts that support product launches, events, promotions, retailer initiatives, and brand campaigns.
- Prepare professional, production-ready files for both print and digital use.
- Partner with internal teams to understand project objectives and translate business needs into effective creative materials.
- Maintain consistency across brand assets while adapting designs for different audiences, channels, retailers, distributors, and events.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, revisions, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organize and maintain creative files, templates, brand assets, and other design resources.
- Stay current on design, social media, lifestyle, beverage, and consumer-brand trends.
What a Typical Week Might Look Like
This role requires someone who enjoys variety and can move quickly between brands and creative formats. A typical workload might include developing a new sell sheet for one vodka brand, creating a retailer poster for another brand, designing graphics and signage for an upcoming event, and preparing the following week's social media content for three additional brands.
The successful candidate will be comfortable switching between projects while ensuring that every piece of creative feels distinct and appropriate for the individual brand.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across both print and digital channels.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Experience designing marketing collateral such as sell sheets, flyers, posters, signage, presentations, event materials, and digital/social assets.
- Experience creating and managing social media content.
- Demonstrated ability to manage creative work for multiple brands simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, composition, branding, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to take a project from initial concept through final production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and incorporate creative feedback.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with alcohol, spirits, beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience creating retailer and distributor-facing marketing materials.
- Experience supporting consumer product launches, promotional campaigns, and live events.
- Photography, video, or short-form content creation/editing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Canva is helpful for quick-turn content, but candidates should have professional design capabilities beyond Canva.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is required for consideration.
Portfolios should demonstrate a range of professional creative work, ideally including both print and digital design across multiple brands. We are particularly interested in seeing
examples of marketing collateral, promotional materials, brand campaigns, event creative, social media graphics, and other consumer-facing design work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a designer first who also understands social media and content. They are equally comfortable building a polished sell sheet in InDesign, developing a promotional graphic in Illustrator or Photoshop, and creating engaging social content for multiple brands.
They are highly creative but also understand that great design needs to serve a business purpose. They can work across several brands at once, shift priorities when needed, and consistently deliver polished, on-brand creative.
