We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job — someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives while building a rewarding career.

What Makes STAR a Great Place to Work?

  • Make a real difference: Help children develop the skills they need to succeed at home, at school, and in everyday life.
  • Room to grow: We believe hard work and strong performance deserve recognition. Start at a competitive rate with opportunities for pay increases based on performance, productivity, quality of care, and professional growth.
  • A collaborative team: Work alongside dedicated therapy professionals who share a passion for helping children thrive.
  • Be creative: Use your clinical expertise to create engaging, individualized treatment plans that make therapy meaningful and fun.
  • Build relationships: Partner with families and caregivers to help children make lasting progress.
  • Make your mark: Bring your ideas, strengths, and interests to a growing pediatric therapy practice where your contributions matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients.
  • Help children develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual-motor integration, coordination, and independence with daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on each child’s needs and goals.
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other therapy professionals to support each child’s success.
  • Educate and empower families with practical strategies they can use at home and in everyday routines.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, professional standards, payer requirements, and clinic policies.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and engaging therapy environment.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy education program, or an equivalent qualifying educational pathway recognized by the applicable licensing authorities.
  • Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain Wisconsin licensure before providing services.
  • Current NBCOT certification (OTR) or eligibility to obtain certification as required for Wisconsin licensure.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, individualized care, and professional development.
  • Ability to meet applicable background check, health, and employment requirements.

Preferred qualifications

Pediatric clinical experience, familiarity with sensory processing and developmental conditions, and experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses. New graduates with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply!

Compensation & Career Growth

At STAR Therapy Services, we want our therapists to have the opportunity to grow with us. We offer a clear opportunity to work toward increased compensation based on demonstrated performance, clinical quality, productivity, reliability, documentation standards, teamwork, and professional development.

We believe your compensation should have room to grow as your skills, contributions, and impact grow.
