Adult Physical Therapist

Job Overview

As an Adult Physical Therapist, you’ll assess adult patients, develop individualized care plans, and guide rehabilitation across appropriate care settings. You’ll use your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe, purposeful treatment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Evaluate patient needs and develop, deliver, and adjust treatment plans for rehabilitation, including orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Provide physical therapy using appropriate techniques, including trigger point therapy when indicated.
• Coordinate care with healthcare professionals and support discharge planning, including transitions to home and community care.
• Document assessments, treatment, and progress according to clinical documentation standards using electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Skills

• Required: Experience practicing in a physical therapy role; knowledge of patient care, care plans, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology; strong client communication.
• Required: Ability to maintain accurate physical therapy documentation and manage records in EHR or EMR systems.
• Preferred: Experience with geriatric patients, orthopedics, neurology, patient rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
• Added bonus would be experience in Adult Pelvic floor.

Pay: From $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
