Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Vascular Surgery

SSM Health Medical Group Medical Group | Bridgeton, MO (12266 DePaul Drive) | SSM Health, in Partnership with Surgical Arts of St. Louis, is located on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient clinical support for our general and vascular surgeons.

The SSM Health Medical Group surgeons operate a high-volume service line encompassing general surgery, breast surgery, and vascular surgery. Surgeons divide their time between clinic responsibilities and operative procedures across multiple facilities, creating a need for dedicated clinical support to ensure efficient patient throughput.

Job Details

Monday-Friday schedule with no nights/weekends/call. Managing post-operative follow-up visits. Evaluating established patients requiring ongoing surveillance and treatment.

Supporting same-day patient needs and urgent clinical concerns. Coordinating care plans and patient education. Assisting with pre-operative and post-operative management.

Providing vascular clinic support, including management of varicose vein patients. This role is essential to maintaining timely patient access, improving clinic efficiency, supporting continuity of care, and enhancing provider productivity. Minimum Requirements Surgical experience desired as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; will review applicants with strong rotations or clinicals in surgery.

Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program. Ability to obtain RN and NP licensure or PA licensure in the State of Missouri. Opened in 1828, SSM Health DePaul Hospital is a 540-bed, full-service Catholic hospital.
