About this role
Occupational Therapist: Do the work you went into OT for
SPOT Rehabilitation, St. Cloud--Full-time
Most job postings promise a great culture. We’d rather show you how ours works.
For nearly 40 years, SPOT Rehabilitation has been locally owned and therapist-owned: a Minnesota agency run by clinicians who understand your work because they’ve done it. We’re a team of about 50 PTs, OTs, SLPs, and nurses providing outpatient and home health care, and our owners still know every clinician by name.
We’re looking for an occupational therapist who would work primarily with our pediatric clientele who wants to grow, be trusted, and do meaningful work with kids and families.
What you’ll do
- Evaluate and treat pediatric clients
- Work in our outpatient clinic as a member of a full team of rehab professionals.
- Coach parents and caregivers so progress continues between sessions
- Collaborate with our SLPs and PTs
Why clinicians stay at SPOT
- Quality of patient care isn’t an afterthought here.
You’ll have room to build your caseload around the kids and families you love working with, along with colleagues across disciplines who share those clients with you.
- Your voice actually reaches the top.
No layers of management or committee approvals. Have an idea for a better process, a new program, or a piece of equipment kids would love? You can talk directly to the owners, and things move quickly.
- Leaders who start with curiosity.
Our leadership is built on assuming good intentions and asking questions before drawing conclusions. When something goes sideways, we figure it out together.
- Built around your strengths.
We use CliftonStrengths across the organization. We want to know what you’re naturally great at and give you more of that work.
- A structured leadership track to encourage and support professional growth in a number of areas.
- Documentation support.
Our clinical leadership reviews documentation in real time and coaches you as you go. You won’t be left alone to figure out compliance.
- Clinical decisions stay clinical.
Because therapists own the company, caseloads, scheduling, and documentation expectations are set by people who understand patient care. Investor targets don’t drive those decisions.
What we’re looking for
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy; licensed (or license-eligible) in Minnesota
- Pediatric experience preferred. New grads who love peds are welcome, and we’ll mentor you.
- Warmth with kids, patience with parents, and curiosity about doing things better
