We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, AVP iOS Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development, delivery, and support of enterprise mobile applications.

This role combines hands-on iOS engineering, technical leadership, architecture guidance, Agile delivery, and team mentorship to create secure, scalable, high-performing mobile solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

iOS Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and performant mobile solutions that provide exceptional user experiences.
• Drive implementation of new features, enhancements, and technical improvements across mobile platforms.
• Ensure applications meet quality, reliability, and performance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance for iOS engineering initiatives.
• Lead development teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Establish coding standards, architectural principles, and engineering best practices.
• Conduct technical design reviews and provide expert code reviews.
• Guide teams in adopting modern frameworks, tools, and development methodologies.

Mobile Architecture &

Design

• Define and evolve mobile application architecture to support scalability, maintainability, and future growth.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering leaders to develop long-term technology roadmaps.
• Drive architectural decisions that balance business requirements, technical constraints, and user experience goals.
• Ensure mobile solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards.
• Promote reusable design patterns and modular development practices.

Agile Product Delivery

• Lead Agile development activities including planning, estimation, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support prioritization of features, enhancements, and technical debt reduction efforts.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Drive continuous improvement across development processes and team execution.

Software Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Champion development of clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Implement quality assurance practices that improve reliability and application performance.
• Promote automated testing, code quality analysis, and continuous integration practices.
• Ensure engineering teams follow secure coding and software development standards.
• Drive a culture focused on craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous learning.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor and coach software engineers on technical skills, architecture, and development best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.

• Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor across development teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product managers, UX designers, architects, quality engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver outstanding products.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on technical strategy and customer needs.
• Support integration efforts with internal platforms, APIs, and third-party solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships that contribute to successful project outcomes.

Production Support & Operational Excellence

• Monitor application performance and proactively address issues affecting stability and user experience.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and lead root cause analysis efforts.
• Implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Support ongoing application maintenance, upgrades, and release activities.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management activities as required.

Innovation & AI Enablement

• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering workflows.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to enhance developer productivity and code quality.
• Recommend process improvements that streamline development and release cycles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
