Occupational Therapist / Hand Therapist

Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist / OT to join their growing outpatient team. As an Occupational Therapist / OT, you will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and hand-related conditions, create and implement individualized care plans, and utilize therapeutic exercises, equipment, and techniques to support each patient’s progress.

Within this role, you will consistently update medical records, communicate patient progress, and provide reports when necessary.

Job Details:

• Location: Flemington, New Jersey (potentially Washington, NJ)
• Duration: Through March
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Approximately 30 hours per week
• Estimated Pay: $1300 per week

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active or eligible New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Hand orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Custom splinting experience is a plus
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is a plus, but not required
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptive problem-solving abilities
