Graphic Designer

Overview

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs that support Scott Pet's branding, marketing, product development, and sales initiatives. This position develops and maintains creative materials for product packaging, promotional materials, digital marketing, trade shows, and other company communications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop graphics, layouts, and visual content for product packaging labels, advertisements, and promotional materials
• Create digital assets for websites, social media, and other online marketing
• Collaborate with other departments to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Prepare and revise artwork based on feedback, ensuring accuracy, quality, and detail
• Prepare production ready files for printing
• Assist with the development of trade show displays, signage, and support material
• Review designs for accuracy, spelling, product information, colors, and required branding elements
• Stay informed of current design trades, software capabilities, and industry best practices
• Interpret project requirements and translate ideas into effective visual designs
• All other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a deadline sensitive environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in graphic design, marketing design, or related creative role.
• Strong work ethic necessary for success in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e.

Illustrator, Photoshop, In

Design, etc.)

• Basic skills in Wordpress, shopify, etc. a plus
• Knowledge of print production, packaging design, file preparation, and digital artwork requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $42,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
