Join our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team as a dedicated Physical Therapist in Silver Spring! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient-centered care by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that promote recovery, mobility, and independence. You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons to determine best rehab plan.

Duties

• Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans that align with clinical standards and patient goals, ensuring effective rehabilitation progress.
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, mobility exercises, manual therapy, and functional training tailored to outpatient and home health settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to medical terminology standards and documentation protocols.
• Conduct discharge planning by preparing patients for ongoing care at home or community settings, ensuring continuity of treatment.
• Engage actively in patient education to promote understanding of their condition, treatment process, and self-care techniques for sustained recovery.

Requirements

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist with practicing in outpatient clinics or hospital settings.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and adapt them based on patient progress.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatric patients and those requiring inpatient or outpatient care.
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as EMR or EHR platforms for accurate documentation and communication.
• Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
