Position Responsibilities

The Pediatric APRN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare for pediatric patients, including:

• Conducting pediatric wellness visits and routine physical examinations
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common childhood illnesses and medical conditions
• Providing preventive care, immunization-related services, and age-appropriate health guidance within the provider's scope of practice
• Managing acute and ongoing pediatric healthcare needs
• Developing treatment plans and educating parents and caregivers
• Providing scheduled, walk-in, same-day, and telehealth visits
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Working independently while collaborating with the clinic team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of two years of postgraduate APRN experience
• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Kentucky RN license and eligibility for Kentucky APRN licensure
• Current national board certification appropriate to the provider's role
• Must have a current DEA registration or be able to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to independently provide pediatric primary care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Self-directed, dependable, and committed to compassionate, high-quality care
• Electronic medical records experience preferred

Work Schedule and Location

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until the last patient has been discharged, including telehealth visits
• Location: One clinic location in Richmond, Kentucky
• Employment: Full-time
• On-call: No on-call responsibilities
• Compensation: $98,000.00 to $129,000.00, Salary plus monthly incentive opportunities
