Job Description:

• Develop, maintain, and manage dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop.
• Deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to Power BI Server.
• Create and manage data sources within Power BI Server.
• Handle data source certification, refresh schedules, updates, and data management.
• Design complex dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations.
• Develop data models, relationships, and efficient reporting solutions.
• Perform data transformation and ETL activities using Power Query.
• Integrate Power BI with Databricks and other enterprise data sources.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, governance, user access, and security.
• Work with business data owners to define KPIs, measure performance, and identify process improvements.
• Develop technical requirements and solution documentation based on functional specifications.
• Follow existing design standards and establish consistent dashboarding standards.
• Support M365 automation and integration requirements.
• Prepare training documentation and provide knowledge transfer to NCDIT-T colleagues.
• Ensure timely delivery of dashboards and reports to meet legislative and DMV Commissioners’ Office deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

----------------------------

• 7+ years of proven experience in Power BI dashboard development, visualization, and reporting.
• Previous government or public-sector experience is preferred.
• Experience delivering public-facing and internal business dashboards.
• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
