Position Overview:

The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable software applications. This position involves building reliable solutions, improving application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or other version control platforms.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and software testing methodologies.

Engineering Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following established development standards.
• Build and integrate APIs, backend services, and application components.
• Troubleshoot software defects and improve system reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and development teams.
• Develop unit tests and support application testing and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Professional Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development or software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience building and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Ability to manage development tasks independently and collaborate effectively with a technical team.

Academic Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Relevant technical certifications or demonstrated project experience are an advantage.
