Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create complex DAX calculations, measures, and calculated columns.
• Develop data transformation workflows using Power Query.
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Develop data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.
• Configure and manage Power BI Service workspaces and deployment pipelines.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Develop automated reporting solutions and scheduled data refreshes.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Strong SQL and T-SQL programming skills.
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Expertise in data modeling and relationship management.
• Experience with Power BI Gateway and scheduled refresh.
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
• Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• Familiarity with Azure Analysis Services.
• Experience with Python for data analysis.
• Knowledge of Snowflake or Databricks.
• Understanding of data governance and security practices.
