About this role
Position Overview
We are seeking a
Product Manager
to oversee a portfolio of industrial electrical products, including terminal blocks, fuse holders, and power distribution components. The role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, developing strategies, driving profitability, and leading new product development from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, pricing, and profitability for assigned lines.
- Lead new product initiatives, including business case development and commercialization.
- Translate customer insights into product requirements and improvements.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure product success.
- Develop and execute pricing and portfolio optimization strategies.
- Support customer engagement, technical documentation, and product training.
- Monitor product performance and report on portfolio health to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years in product management, engineering, or related technical roles within manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar.
- Experience with industrial or electrical products, especially low-voltage electrical components.
- Strong customer requirement translation, financial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Effective communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Knowledge of UL standards, global sourcing, and new product development processes.
Additional Details
The role is remote, with the possibility of travel to support customer and supplier interactions. The salary range is $115,000–$135,000, depending on experience and location. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, retirement plans, paid leave, and tuition assistance.
