Senior Accountant

Take ownership of daily accounting and financial reporting for a growing lender.

Work directly with finance leadership and help improve accounting operations.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate monthly close activities within five business days.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily cash activity across multiple bank accounts.
• Review and approve checks and wires within authorized limits.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports across multiple legal entities.
• Analyze account movements and explain financial variances.
• Support annual audits, tax schedules, and year-end reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and follow accounting controls.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities.
• Strong journal entry and account reconciliation experience.
• Experience supporting accounting across multiple legal entities.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and accounting judgment.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Consumer lending or financial services experience.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations.
• Power Query or advanced Excel automation experience.
• Experience using AI tools for accounting workflows.

Location: Wayne, Pennsylvania

Work Arrangement: Fully in-office; not remote.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
