Financial Controller

Lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a growing lending business.

Own the close, strengthen controls, and modernize accounting processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the complete month-end close process.
• Deliver accurate monthly financial statements within five business days.
• Manage consolidated reporting across multiple legal entities.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Analyze financial results, budgets, and monthly variances.
• Lead year-end close and support external audits.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Improve reporting through automation, technology, and AI tools.
• Mentor accounting staff and improve team performance.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years as Controller or Assistant Controller.
• Proven experience managing multi-entity month-end close.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Public accounting firm experience.
• Consumer lending or financial services experience.
• Experience implementing modern finance technology and automation.

Schedule

Full-time

Work Location: Wayne, Pennsylvania

Work Arrangement: 100% in-office; not remote.

Pay: From $145,000.00 per year
