About the role
We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help build software and automation that make our systems easy to operate, safe to change, and reliable in production. You’ll connect development and operations, building the tools and practices that prevent incidents, enable developers, and make production systems easier to operate.
The ideal candidate would have experience:
- Working with cloud infrastructure using IaC practices.
- Working with Kubernetes and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Establishing and monitoring SLI's, SLO's, and SLA's to ensure optimal system performance.
- Working with open telemetry metrics, tracing, and logging.
- Leading incident response, conducting root cause analysis, and establishing postmortem action plans.
- Building release and deployment systems using CI/CD practices.
- Building user facing production software.
- Building internal platforms focused on improving the developer experience.
- Writing unit, integration, and e2e tests.
- Releasing software into production and validating functionality.
Other experience that would be helpful:
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience working with and contributing to security compliance programs like HIIPA and SOC2.
- Experience specifically with Java, Go, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Vault.
- Working with AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
