Job description

About this role

We are looking for a highly strategic and hands-on Senior Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will design complex products, including our mobile application that is used by stroke, trauma, and vascular teams in acute care settings, as well as a suite of desktop applications used by clinicians to track and monitor their patients.

You will be a champion for user-centered design, translating clinical workflows, deep data insights, and AI outputs into intuitive, efficient, and reliable user experiences for clinicians and care teams. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes environment; we look for designers who are energized by solving complex, time-critical problems and can adapt quickly as clinical and product priorities shift.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Product Design & Execution

Lead the end-to-end design process across mobile (iOS, iPadOS, Android), web, and native desktop applications. Turn complex clinical data and AI model outputs into intuitive, high-stakes interfaces that perform reliably under pressure. Build user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using AI tools and advanced prototyping methods.

Maintain and expand the RapidAI design system and Figma component libraries to ensure cross-platform consistency. Clinical Research & Validation Direct user research initiatives with healthcare professionals to build empathy for time-sensitive clinical workflows. Conduct interviews, observational studies, and usability testing to turn insights into actionable design strategies.

Travel occasionally (up to 20%) to meet clinicians in healthcare settings and validate design decisions on-site.

Leadership & Collaboration

Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Clinical AI/ML teams from strategy through deployment. Operate with high autonomy on day-to-day design decisions while knowing when to align with design leadership. Communicate design rationale effectively across technical, clinical, and executive audiences.

What you bring!

Experience: 6+ years of Product/UX Design experience shipping end-to-end products across web, mobile, and native desktop platforms; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Portfolio

Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, clear design process, and solutions for complex, high-stakes user problems (healthcare or complex enterprise experience preferred).

Research & Insights

Proven ability to plan, run, and synthesize user research directly with technical or clinical domain experts to inform product decisions.

Design Systems & Craft

Deep expertise in Figma and modern research tools, including active contribution to shared design component libraries.

Technical & AI Aptitude

Comfortable working close to engineering/code, with a working knowledge of platform constraints and experience using AI tools to accelerate design exploration without sacrificing quality.

Communication & Storytelling

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate design rationale and build alignment with clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.

Autonomy & Resilience

Self-directed operator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple concurrent projects across global time zones.

Join the global leader in clinical AI transforming stroke, vascular, and neuro care. Work alongside innovators redefining healthcare delivery—where clinical excellence meets measurable business impact.
