Graphic Designer/Print Technician

Immediate opening for a creative Graphic Designer/Print Technician with well-established commercial printing company who have been located in Topeka, KS since 1963. Pleasant work environment, near 10th and Wanamaker. This person will be responsible for the creation of designs according to specifications, prepping files to print on digital press, and other tasks requested by the Manager.

The ideal candidate should have original ideas, be open to learning more, create impressive designs, and have a keen eye for detail. This role will support the design and creative functions for all aspects of our print shop.

Our ideal candidate would:

• Possess a solid understanding Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, along with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with website maintenance and social media as it pertains to the business would also be a plus
• A self-starter who knows what needs to be done and operates with urgency, focus, and discipline
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
• Strong team player who can build strong relationships within all levels of the organization. Capability to provide superior customer service is paramount

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Required)
• Adobe InDesign: 1 year (Required)
