*We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist (DPT) for field work in the Kern County area!

Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (approved by the APTA)
- Current and unrestricted physical therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- At least one (1+) year's clinical experience
- Home Health experience a plus
- Must have a CA Driver's License with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and is in good working order
- Physical Examination (within the last 1 year)
- PPD Test/ TB Gold test (within the last year) or Chest X-Ray (within the last 2 years)
- CPR/BLS Certificate
- Have satisfactory references from previous (or current) employers and professional peers.
- Have excellent observation, good clinical judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
Physical Therapist (PT) Job Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better, day by day.
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient care observations, interventions and evaluation on the day services are rendered
- You'll also instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made.
- Maintains contact with patients, Physical Therapist Assistant, Clinical Manager(s), other members of the healthcare team and the community in assuring effective care coordination and appropriate resource referrals.
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in relation to information that is confidential in nature. Share information only when recipient's right to access is clearly established and sharing of such information is in the best interest of the patient.
- Maintain/enhance clinical practice skills by attending, participating in/conducting staff development/continuing education program.
- Utilizes the Clinical Supervisor as the first resource when problems or questions occur in the field, including charting guidelines, coordination of disciplines, and supervision of home health aide services.
- Maintains Agency property, supplies and equipment in a manner that demonstrates ownership and accountability.
- Demonstrates infection control per Medicare/CHAP/OSHA guidelines and Agency
policies.
- Maintains a professional appearance and treats others with care and respect. Works toward resolution of interpersonal conflicts as they arise.
- Builds community and customer perception of the Agency as a high quality provider of services.
- Continuously analyzes work processes and makes suggestion for improvement.
- Recommends and/or supports changes to Agency policies and procedures.
- Is a team player: recognizing the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accepting strengths and limitations in others; works towards the resolution of interpersonal conflicts as they arise; attends and contributes during meetings; demonstrates initiative to meet the needs of the Agency by assisting coworkers when workload permits; provides assistance in a courteous manner and treats others with care and respect.
Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
