Sr. Data Scientist

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to develop data-driven solutions, analyze complex business problems, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. This role will work with multidisciplinary teams in a highly regulated GMP environment and requires strong analytical, programming, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights.
• Translate business questions and operational needs into data-driven analytical solutions.
• Develop and implement analytical solutions using appropriate programming, statistical, and data-mining techniques.
• Apply programming languages and statistical tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SAS, and SQL to analyze and manage data.
• Develop and support algorithms, data structures, and analytical models to address business and technical problems.
• Evaluate business and technical requirements and select the appropriate tools, methodologies, and analytical approaches.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems and support the implementation of data-driven improvements.
• Generate clear, precise, and actionable analyses and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand business needs, define analytical requirements, and support effective decision-making.
• Present analytical findings, recommendations, and results to stakeholders and management.
• Support projects involving data analysis, business analytics, statistical modeling, and process improvement.
• Maintain a strong quality and compliance mindset while performing data-related activities in a regulated GMP environment.
• Manage assigned analytical projects, timelines, deliverables, and priorities to support successful project completion.
• Apply strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and technical judgment when addressing data and business challenges.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations:

• Doctorate in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience. Associate Degree plus 8 years of relevant experience. High School Diploma/GED plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with statistical software and programming languages such as R, MATLAB, SAS, or Python.
• Experience with database languages such as SQL.
• Ability to articulate business questions and use programming and analytical techniques to develop business solutions.
• · Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems.
• Demonstrated ability to select appropriate analytical tools and methodologies based on the problem.
• Experience working with data analysis, statistics, and data-driven decision-making is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong technical proficiency with logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
