Job description

About this role

Become a Key Player as a Senior Product Manager

You will lead the product vision and execution for connected consumer hardware that improves sleep, recovery, and daily focus. You will influence cross-functional stakeholders—including Product Design, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Program Management, Industrial Design, Hardware, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Quality—to take concepts from early research through launch and post‑launch optimization.

This role reports to the COO and is based in Santa Barbara, CA.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including support and sunset planning for hardware products
  • Own the product roadmap and translate user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives into prioritized requirements
  • Run competitor analysis and customer research; convert insights into clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and actionable backlogs
  • Partner with program, design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to balance timeline, cost, and quality trade-offs
  • Align with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market plans, positioning, and launch readiness
  • Establish project tracking tools to monitor development progress, bugs, and cross-functional workflows
  • Define and track success metrics for shipped products and use data to guide iteration and future roadmap decisions

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including shipping physical products
  • Proven ability to make high-quality product decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • User-centric mindset with experience running user research and usability testing
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to make and defend product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; experience writing PRDs and technical specifications
  • Demonstrated track record of collaborating across design, engineering, data, and cross-functional teams

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

  • Experience in health, wellness, or medical device products (wearables, skin-contact, adhesive-based devices)
  • Technical background in mechanical, chemical, or biomedical engineering, or materials science
  • Familiarity with FDA or other regulatory considerations for consumer health hardware
  • Experience with high-volume Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and retail product strategies
